Anke Felder has been Managing Director Human Resources and Labor Director of Opel Automobile GmbH since May 1, 2018.
Anke Felder has worked for many years in leading human resources positions of German technology and mechanical engineering companies with a global presence for many years. She gained international experience in dealing with different cultures in Western and Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America and the USA, where she lived for five years. The focus of her work is the strategic transformation of organisations, talent and organisational development as well as labour relations – always with the aim of strengthening the company as a brand and supporting an improved performance.
Before joining Opel, Felder was Vice President of Total Rewards at GEA Group in Düsseldorf, where she had global responsibility for all aspects of compensation as well as Human Resources (HR) Strategy and HR Operations. From 2015 to 2016 she was Vice President of Human Resources North and Latin America with the listed company, based in Columbia, Maryland, USA. From 2007 to 2015, the trained lawyer (Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel, Germany) worked in various positions and corporate units with regional and global responsibilities and steadily increasing responsibility for Thyssen Krupp. Most recently she was Senior Vice President Human Resources for North America and Mexico based in Chicago. Felder was also a member of the Executive Board in this function. She started her professional career at Grundfos.
