At a glance
The Gliwice plant was built in a record time of just 22 months and began producing components in April 1998. Just four months later the first vehicle, an Astra (F) Classic, rolled off the assembly line.
The company is the largest foreign investor in Silesia. It makes a significant contribution to the region’s economic upswing and to the positive changes occurring in its industrial structure.
Currently the plant produces the Opel Astra (K), the GTC, Opel Astra four-door model and has exclusive production of the elegant Opel Cascada convertible.
