At a glance

The plant in Zaragoza, Spain, was opened in 1982 when the first Opel Corsa was built there. Since its establishment, a number of iconic Opel models have rolled off its assembly lines including the Kadett, Astra, Tigra and Mokka. More than ten million vehicles and over three million components have been produced at the Zaragoza Plant. Start of production of the newest model, the Crossland X, was celebrated in May 2017.

The Opel plant in Zaragoza is a significant part of the national automotive industry. Spain is the third-largest vehicle producer in Europe.
