Rüsselsheim.  On the lookout – the bearded family man in his prime is roaming his own house with the restlessness of a hungry tiger. But what is he looking for? Something big, something to make day-to-day life exciting again. He looks out of the window and discovers … the new Opel Grandland X. “Much better,” he says in delight when he rediscovers his freedom while driving. This is exactly the feeling transmitted by the by TV advert “Life’s Grand!”. The advert encourages people to forget their daily routine for a while and instead rediscover the adventures every day can offer, or put simply: to enjoy life more again. The new Opel Grandland X offers all of this with its modern, dynamic lines, cool off-road look and typical SUV qualities. In other words: A true contender and one that is above all fun to drive!

The new Opel Grandland X – the perfect companion for more adventure in day-to-day life. The newcomer already radiates this with its muscular appearance and has even more to offer: top technologies, innovative assistance systems, a high level of comfort and lots of space. A car that makes life more interesting again – and this is exactly what the campaign developed for the new Grandland X by Opel’s creative agency Heimat plays on. The ads will run on all channels with the first spots to be shown on TV and the web as of today.

Further humorous short films can be seen online, all following the motto: practicality can be so much fun. Example: Wet road. This spot includes a guide of what to do when there are puddles on the road. Do you dodge them and drive around the puddles? Not in the Grandland X. Thanks to the electronic IntelliGrip traction system the small asphalt lakes add to the driving pleasure. These are just two examples of the way that the Opel Grandland X is telling its drivers: Driving is fun again!

The 4.48 metre long Grandland X proves this in many ways.
